Luggage complications
Below are the current rules that apply for damaged, lost or delayed luggage – if you have any questions, please contact your travel agency.
Delays
Luggage which has been delayed must be reported to Jet Time’s handling agent in the airport where a written report is filed (Property Irregularity Report) to ensure that the luggage is being listed as missing. As soon as the luggage has been located Jet Time’s handling agent will contact the passenger and arrange for delivery.
Upon delivery of the luggage you will receive a copy of the Property Irregularity Report which must be kept by you.
If the luggage is damaged upon delivery you will have to report it to the handling company immediately for filing of damage report. Transcript of that report must be kept.
Damaged/lost luggage
Damaged luggage must be reported to Jet Time Handling company in the airport immediately and no later than 7 calendar days after. A Property Irregulatiry Report is filled in and a transcript of the report is handed over and much be stored
Claim for compensation must be made within 7 days after arrival at destination.
