Luggage Rules
As a passenger with Jet Time - +2 years - you may bring 20 kg of checked-in hold baggage (your suitcase) and 5 kg hand luggage (maximum measurements 55X40X23 cm). Children under 2 years old who travel without a ticket will be allowed to carry 5 kg hand luggage. If you are travelling with others, you may pack your luggage with the others, although each suitcase must not weigh more than 32 kg. For example, 2 people travelling together can pack 2 cases.
If you are travelling to a ski destination, you may only bring 15kg of checked-in hold baggage + 1 item of hand luggage of 5kg.
Pushchairs/ prams may be brought free of charge. Jet Time recommends that you rent a box to protect the pushchair/ pram during transit – click here to order. Jet Time will NOT replace any damaged pushchairs / prams etc. if these have not been packed in an Airshell bag. At the same time, we must also point out that it is NOT permitted to pack any other item than a pushchair/pram in the bag, it is also important to follow the instructions on how to pack the bag carefully. Spot checks are regularly carried out at the departure airport. Maximum measurements for pushchairs/prams are 105X50X65 cm.
Items including the following should be packed as hand luggage. If you are in any doubt, please contact Jet Time:
- Money and other valuable papers/items
- Jewellery, glasses, contact lenses, items made of gold, silver, platinum, pearls or precious stones
- Watches
- Computer, mobile phone, keys, camera etc.
- Matches and lighter (max. 1 per person) should be kept on your person at all times.- Medicine
- Bottles and other fragile items
- Items of food (always check the country of arrival’s regulations for importing food).

Jet Time recommends that suitcases are not locked. Security personnel have the right at any time to break the lock to examine the contents for security checks. For the same reason, we are therefore unable to offer compensation for any loss/damage incurred in connection with a suitcase lock that has been forced open.

Dangerous goods
For security reasons, a large number of items and liquids are banned on board the aircraft and in the checked-in baggage. E.g. compressed gases, corrosive and flammable items, paint, fireworks, pollutants and substances that contain bacteria or viruses.

If your luggage is damaged or lost on arrival, you must immediately notify the airport. A PIR report will be issued, which is your receipt to show that the damage occurred while the baggage was in Jet Time’s care. For further information, please refer to the section “after the flight.”
If your baggage is delayed for more than 8 hours, Jet Time will provide a compensation of 100 Euros per delayed suitcase to purchase the most essential toiletries and clothing. This amount is paid as a one-off sum and in most cases will be paid by the travel agent acting on behalf of Jet Time. Please ask your tour guide for more details. Compensation is only provided for baggage delays at the country of your destination.
